Brewer Bros had a used car lot across the street from their dealership. I believe that the MCLA apartment buildings are located there now.

Brewer Brothers was a great dealership and fair to their employees. William "Bill" Schrade worked there as a mechanic and had a brain hemorage, or stroke, and they kept him on the payroll until his untimely death. Not many companies woul do that in this day and age. Bills' wife Florence babby sat my daughter when my wife returned to work as executive secretary to James Martin comptroller of Sprague Electric Co. The schrades were a real good family as I knew them from my youth.

Nice comments about the Schrades. Bill was my grandfather, but he died before I was born.
