Parade headed south on Park Street, Adams, over railroad crossing and Hoosic River, passing South Adams Savings Bank, marked by clock in front. The Hardware Shop is the next building and then the Greylock Hotel, where the NORTH ADAMS TRANSCRIPT office was located (plate glass window)

Can you name the location?
Was it Park St or Center St? Did Park St start at the old RR tracks?

Autos appear to be pre WW II. Parades in the 1950's went clockwise not counter clockwise around the Adams streets, i.e. Summer, Center,Park, etc. The parade marshal is in an American Legion uniform, person infront of the police chief.

a grocery store was in the spot next to the transcript offices before the hardware store. i used to deliver flyers for 50 centsall the way up commercial st.a&p was the market
