Just a guess....when they used to have rock concerts at Fish Pond in the 70's.

The way those guys on the left are dressed---" that shore nuff ain't no rock band". And, consider the beard on the face of the guy in front, on the left. Also, it appears that the couple dancing are doing a square dance type step. Rusty.

When I was young there was a black band that would get in a boat or two and play their hearts out in the center of the Fish Pond around where the raft was once located. Their soulful music was great and one looked forward to their next sersnade. I'm not certain but I believe some of the players were named Hart from Williamstown. The depression years were not the worse years in N. A. There was a Hart construction company in Williamstown at the time.

That fiddle bow seems to indicate that this was more likely a country square dance type of event.
