Most boats of this type are at the bottom of some river, lake or ocean. In Panama City I knew of three built and one remains. They were slow, multi heavy and a comfortable ride. It only stands to reason the a porous product has to be kept well sealed and it's a must to have perfect bilge pumps. The cost of maintenance and docking far exceeded the purses of many builders. As a former yatch owner, I realize that it's impossible to fill that big money hole out there in the water as the expenses never end. Much pleasure at a high cost. Posted: 02/28/2006 Comments...
