As I recall this was a sprinkler system on a lawn left on during a Winter freeze, with obvious results. This was during time I was employed at The Transcript

It's the Beverly house in Stamford. It wasn't a sprinkler system, its an underground spring that causes this frozen fountain. Christine posed next to it in a Transcript photo in the early 80's.

Leon Beverly residence. I believe it is necessary to relieve the pressure from an on-site water system. Therefore, a bleeder valve (or similar device) is left open all year long - results illustrated.
