Steps to Hadley Overpass from parking lot on American Legion Drive.

Can you name the location?
The stairs going from American Legion Drive to the overpass on State Street. Must not have been a sign at the top.

Coming down from Hadley overpass to old State ST....

I would very much love to have these stairs repaired when bridge is being "refurbished" ... I do remember using them to go to the Skating rink at Noles' field many years ago, probably about 1948 or 1947.... the old days were full of fun --- what happened?? letalien5@aol.com

It was a long walk in the 50's from the northern end of the city so we used to use these stairs all the time...we would go to Modern Dairy in the summer for one of their great sundays and to Noel Field in the winter for ice skating...and the Drury sports games and carnivals that were all held at Noel Field. those were the days! Where did they go?

We didn't have a car, I had to walk everywhere. I also used those stairs to go to Noel Field and Modern Dairy when I was in high school. I remember when they build the overpass...and now, in 2010, they are doing repairs...I hope they put the stairway back.
