This is the Indian at Mohawk Park. The park was one of the bussiest summer spots in th 40's and 50's. Swimming in the river, diving oss the ledges and pinicking.For several years one of my favorite spotsand not much over 30 minutes from N. A. The Canetys or was it Kennedys that owned it and made all fell at home. Also a great gift shop. This all died after the openig of the Mass Turnpike. Another of the great eras faded into the past.
