I'm Lisa Kennedy (Ezzard) and my father, Ed, are living in Orlando, Florida. We moved away from North Adams in 1978. My dad is still an active musician here in Orlando. He used to own Shep and Sons Garage in North Adams on the Mohawk Trail.

When I was growing up in N. A., born in 1926, all we had was a continuos line of traffic going through town and up the Mohawk Trail. The line was so steady that it was next to impossible at times to cut into it or even cross a street. A steady line from Williamstown right on through up the trail. All sight areas, restaurants and gift shops were so busy one could hardly find place to park. Of course in the name of Progress the Mass. Pike came along and killed all of that including the heavy traffic through the Hoosac Tunnel. The glory days were brought to almost a complete halt for some time.
