THAT WAS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SETTING. I LOOKED OVER IT MANY TIME FROM DEX MOORES BACK YARD. HIS DAUGHTER DAUGHTER PAT WORKED THERE AS A GROOMER AND TRAINER. ALL, DEX, PAT AND THE TRACK WERE GREAT LOSS TO THE AREA.

That was a beautiful farm owned by the Bishops before that track came and turned into an eyesore coming into Vermont!

It wasn't an eyesore untill the place went belly up about 16 years ago, and it certainly isn't the worst one Pownal has/had before or since. Here's to hoping they do something worthwhle with it soon.
