Every year the primary classes hosted a sit-down Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. The children from each class helped to prepare the various foods served. As I recall, the turkeys were cooked by parents at home since Marks had a very small kitchen with only one stove. Everything else was done by these students and teachers. Ask any parent or grandparent who attended this dinner...they'll tell you how wonderful and delicious it was!!
