Wow, I just noticed that the window had been smashed. Poor Jean. I remember many years ago, when I was in the store. There was many glass shelves with little glass knic knacks on them. One was very close to the edge and thinking I was being helpful, I pushed it back on the shelf. Well, you guessed it, the entire shelf came crashing down.

Originally it was on Main Street for many years approximately where the Papyri book store is. Or at the same location. Was a great place for Sprague workers. When a co worker was getting married we would take up a collection and we would go to Jean's to pick out gifts.

When I was a little girl, my mother would take me with her to the Kwalitee...I loved looking at all the beautiful things in her store! I thought it was the Mohawk gift shop that moved across the street to where the book shop is now located...am I wrong?
